Jessica Ramsden goes by the screenname “Rotaniah” and is commonly referred to as just “Ro” by her online peers and readers.

Jessica graduated from James Madison University with a B.F.A. in Studio Art with a Concentration in Painting & Drawing in 2020. She works a full-time office job, specializing in fraud prevention and digital services, while also pursuing her passion on the side — comics!

She is the author and artist of three webcomic series: Star Children (Fantasy/Drama/Romance), The Exorcist’s Bracelet (Supernatural/Action/Horror), and Star Catcher (Romance/Drama). Star Children and The Exorcist’s Bracelet are currently hosted on Webtoon Canvas, and Star Catcher is on Webtoon Originals.

Jessica loves to write LGBTQ+ friendly stories and specializes in character-driven narratives. Her dream is to one day pursue art and comic-making as a full-time career and have her own graphic novels published in stores.

Her achievements include winning numerous art awards in her local community as well as winning the “Best Epic Adventure” for Star Children in Webtoon’s 2022 Canvas awards.
